Date of Death: August 16, 1936, in Billings, Montana (41 years old)

Ralph V. Scott was found dead in his car with the windows rolled up.

His death was the result of carbon monoxide poisoning so it is presumed that he

committed suicide. 

At the time of his death, he was living in Hardin, Wisconsin.  He is buried in the Custer

Battlefield National Cemetery, Montana.


During World War I, Scott found himself on the troop ship "Tuscania".  On February 5th,

1918, it was hit by a torpedo from a German U-Boat and sank off the coast of Ireland,

a little more than four hours after it was hit.  He was one of the soldiers rescued from the ship.
