Glenn Stough was inducted into the Westmoreland County Sports Hall of

Fame in 1985.  In the fall of 1946, the McKeesport Veterans of Foreign

Wars football team played a series of benefit football games against the

likes of the Detroit All-Stars and the Warren RedjacketsGlenn Stough

was on the VFW team along with other pro's such as Ted Doyle (1940's

Pittsbugh Steelers, Eagles and Cardinals), Hubbard Law (1942 & 1945

Pittsburgh Steelers) and George Smith (1943 Chicago Cardinals).


Glenn was a mountain of a man, standing 6'5" and weighing 266 lbs.

I have seen his first name spelled 'Glenn' and 'Glen'
