Two weeks prior to his death, he suffered a heart attack.  He never fully recovered and

passed away in a Cleveland, Ohio hospital.

Don Miller served as line coach at Ohio State University for a brief time, then became

a judge in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

He was one of the famous and legendary "Four Horsemen" backfield for

Notre Dame University in the 1920's.
