He was killed in an automobile accident when his car was sideswiped by another car.

The other car was driven by a former teammate (Edward A. Jackson).  He was rushed

to the Allegheny hospital, but Mose died four hours later.

Known as a great kicker and punter, he was a specialist before it became the norm.

During his time, the fans would always cheer "We Want Mose!" when it

came time for him to kick the ball.
