About Me

I am the son of Louis Duke Abbruzzi prewar/post war college/semi/pro football player.I have all college/semi pro and pro football clippings of games my father was in including some photos and small amount of film from RI State. August, 1941 signed as free agent with Green Bay made it to last cut (Don Hutson was his competition, Lambeau coach) still under contract with team played 1941 East College Stars vs Chicago Bears at Fenway then played for Providence Steamrollers of AA they went under then went to the independent Churchill Pros out of Springfield, Ma. then after war to the Boston Yanks. My Uncle and godfather was Pat Abbruzzi CFL MVP mid 50's.
