Ready to watch San Franciscoâ??s 49ers playing in the Supercool, and love seeing this picture of the early days of San Franciscoâ??s pro ball. My dad, Tom Bussjaeger, number 29, is still alive, and will turn 98 on February 22. Heâ??s amazing, generally healthy for his age, and cognitively intact! Heâ??s still able to share his old football memories with us kids. What stories he has!

I am sorry about that. Do you or your dad happen to know who number 29 is in this picture?

My dad did not play in 1947, he was busy with a messy divorce from my mother, who was a very difficult person. Sorry I have no information on 1947

Greetings Bob
My grandfather played for them on the 1947 team and was a halfback. Did your dad play on the 1947 team? Do you have any photos of that team? There is very little info of the PCPFL. My grandfather was Bob Swanson and was a halfback.
