About Me

I am writing the first book from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world,50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas. At present I am compiling a monograph on Milwaukee artist and peace advocate Jessie Agnes Schley (born 1852).Her great nephew is Charles Schley Mercein. I would like to contact him concerning the Schley family history.

About Me

Hello, I'm Alisa Green.  I am the niece of Charles F Sarratt, I know him as Uncle Charlie.  He and Aunt Geneva are diehard football fans.  My dad was Aunt Geneva's twin.  Our family although separated by miles, is a great family.  We encourage one another to be all that we can be!  My dad was a retired Lt. Colonel in the USAF.  I am very proud of his dedication to his job and our family.  I have two brothers Jeff and Mark Ford and I am proud of their accomplishments.  I'm a mother and have worked at being a surgical nurse for the last 28 years. I am pictured here with my best friend Mayrene Allison, who is a lifelong friend.  Her family lives in Washington.  Last summer I visited and on a sunny day we went on a boat on Lake Washington.

About Me

I am the son and nephew of two former NFL players. My father, Jack Manders, played for the Chicago Bears from 1933 to 1940. During this time, the Bears played in four championship games, winning 2 (1933 & 1940) and losing two (1934 & 1937). My father led the league in scoring 2 years (1934 & 1937) and scored 15 points in the 1937 loss to the Redskins. He also recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass in that game. He kicked the first extra point in the 1940 Shellacking of the Redskins, winning that game 73-0. In the 1933 Championship he kicked three field goals and an extra point. He and Bronco Nagurski were teammates at University of Minnesota as well as the Bears. In fact, it was Bronco who recommended him to George Halas.

About Me

68 years old, native of Green Bay. Have lived in MN for 44 years, but still green and gold blooded Packer fan. Family has had season tickets since 1965. Back in the day ('50s-mid '60's) met a number of Packer players through various means, when the sport was nothing like it is today
