Bob Reifsnyder was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1960.  Prior

to the start of the season, he asked head coach Sid Gillman to be

traded to the New York Titans.  His wife was expecting and he wanted

to be near her.  Gillman refused so he decided to quit.  "I wanted to be near

her, but Gillman refused to trade me, so I just decided to quit." he said.

Eventually Gillman and the Rams traded him to the Titans on
