Second Lieutenant Dick Lass died from injuries he suffered when his

plane crashed near El Paso, Texas during a training flight.  He was taken

to a hospital in El Paso where he died the next day from his injuries.  He

was a member of the U.S. Air Corps.

He graduated from Rufus King High School in Wisconsin.
