Did you know?

Merton Dunnigan was living in Minneapolis in 1924, working as an assistant coach

at Minnesota as well as playing for the Minneapolis Marines.

We believe his brother, Warren N. Dunnigan, should be credited with playing for the

1922 Green Bay Packers & the 1925/26 Milwaukee Badgers.  We have a letter, in which

Mr. Dunnigan said he played for Green Bay and Milwaukee, but did not mention

Minneapolis.  He also said that he had been called William and Walter at various times

in his life, but that his real name was Warren.  There are two articles in the Green

Bay Press-Gazette, which provide some clarification.  The first, from 07/29/22 mentioned

Bill Dunnigan as a Packer lineman.  The second, from 11/22/50, had information about the

current whereabouts of former Packers, including Warren Dunnigan of Milwaukee.
