Did you know?

James M. Roberts graduated from Somerset (KY) High School in 1918.

When he was about 22 years old, he gave three pints of blood to help

his sister recover from a serious illness.

Red Roberts died in Middlesboro Hospital from burns suffered when a fire broke

out on the 3rd floor of the Cumberland Hotel where he was the manager.

Red Roberts was on the 1921 Centre College team that defeated Harvard 6-0 in

what some have called one of the greatest upsets in college football history.  Roberts
