He began his football career at Dubuque Senior High School.

He was an assistant football coach at the University of Arizona from 1947-51 and

died of cancer at his home in Tucson, Arizona. Vosberg graduated from Marquette

University, where he was a standout end and the 1941 NCAA javelin champion.

He played in the College All Star football game against the Chicago Bears at Wrigley

Field.
