Did you know?

Ben attended William & Mary his freshman year but after they dropped the

football program because of World War II,  he transferred to Indiana University

with the help of Lou Little putting in a good word with head coach Bo McMillian.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Ben Raimondi signed with the Chicago Rockets in July of 1948 but he never

appeared in a regular season game with them.
