I remember seeing this game. I was in the first grade at the time. All the 49er away games were televised by CBS on KPIX of San Francisco. This game was at County Stadium in Millwaukee, where the Packers would play half their home games until 1994. The Packers won this game and would win again in early December, on a cold and rainy mid-40'sF Saturday afternoon on a muddy Kezar Stadium field in San Francisco 13-0. If the 49ers had won that game, they probably would have won the Western Division and thus played the Buck Shaw coached Philadelphia Eagles on December 26 in Philly. The Packers shut down the shotgun formation and John Brodie.
